Display my google calendar on Hub Max screen

Just got the Nest Hub Max and have spent a couple hours trying to display my Google calendar.  It only tells me my next 5 entries when doing by voice.  Asking Google to “display my monthly calendar” somehow opens Spotify and plays a song called “Monthly Calendar”. 

How can I simply display the current month calendar?? It seems it should really be an option on the home menu and maybe I’m just missing something simple but I’m not finding it anywhere and the voice cannot recognize what I’m saying. Help please!
