Domain error 83902 on nest mini set up

Trying to set up our nest minis. We have 2xgen 2 minis and 2x 1. Only 3 will get through to wifi connection stage and do connect but then I get the domain error 83902. The last gen 2 mini won’t connect at all from the start of set up. Have rebooted, factory reset, turned them all off and on, turned phone off and on, set up a new Google account for set up, removed the home from the account and set it up again, deleted the home app and downloaded again. They all worked at the last house so not sure what the issue is here.

Hi @Mimzy,

I appreciate the thorough information you have provided in your post. I understand that you got a domain error-83902 message on your Google Nest Mini 2nd generation. I'm happy to help.

Please follow these steps:

  • Open the settings.
  • Tap General.
  • Select Language & Region.
  • Tap Add Language.
  • Select the US English language.
  • Also the Region US English
  • Then also change the Google Assistant's language with EN_US or English US.
  • On your setup device, open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Settings from the bottom right.
  • Google Assistant.
  • Manage all Assistant settings.
  • Tap Languages.
  • Choose languages for speaking to your assistant.
  • Select the English US or EN_US.
  • Once done, please turn off the setup device and turn it back on.
  • Factory Data Reset
  • Close the Google Home app and reopen.
  • Set up your Google Nest Mini 2nd generation.

Let me know how it goes.

Warm regards,

Jeremy.
