Email links never arrived after Google tells me they do

Google Nest often tells me she is sending me links to my email account about questions I just had. Those emails never arrive and I have no clue how to change settings so they do!  Thanks.

Hey Joyful72,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear that you're having issues with one of the features on your Google Home/Nest speaker or display. I'd love to help.

Please note that the Google Assistant on your speaker or display can send information to your phone via notification and not on email. Make sure that you're phone have the same email address linked on your speaker. If no information nor notifications appear on your phone, please follow the steps below:

  1. The requested information is a supported feature. Music, alarms, and timers are a few features that can't be sent to a mobile device.
  2. Make sure the mobile device and Google Home are signed into the same Google Account.
  3. Make sure notifications are turned on.
  4. If multiple people are using Google Home, make sure to set up a voice match. If the Assistant can't recognize the voice, it can't send information to the mobile device.

To know more about this feature, please visit this link.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Muddi
