Have been listening to Triple M FM Melbourne for a year with out issue. Suddenly today it plays a different station from what I'm asking for. After a little investigating, I find that radio stations that are linked to either iHeart and Tunein are being played, but nothing via the Listnr app. Has the Listnr app been dropped.
"Help" pages instruct to arrange your radio requirements via Media>Manage your system>Radio (button) But there is no Radio button (Only Music, Video, Podcast or Create Groups)

It seems to be a problem in numerous countries including the UK where the BBC no longer streams to google devices. As with us, the problem arose last week. Radio App stations don’t work on google speakers but I heart radio and tunein stations do. No doubt they’re aware of the problem so we just have to patient. Frustrating I know!!! BTW 3aw is still working on Alexa 🙂
04-10-2023 02:15 AM
A few days ago I joined others in reporting on the other thread that BBC channels no longer stream to my Nests. Today I can confirm that Planet Radio stations have stopped working too. Global Player channels appear to be ok, but it appears that Google radio streams are taking a battering.
Makes a mockery of a ‘smart speaker’ when they’ve become severely restricted with the problem getting worse daily.
Hackers, financial, or incompetence, I wonder?
04-10-2023 10:41 PM
Same problem. Can't play ANY radio through Google Nest or Hub. Noticed the Assistant's voice has changed to a male voice, not by me, maybe an auto-update has caused the problem.
04-11-2023 06:00 PM
Any resolution to this? One day I'm able to ask Google mini to play 97.3 KIRO (or other radio stations) and now it says I looked for xx radio but isn't available or can't be played right now for the past 3 weeks! What gives?
04-11-2023 07:59 PM
This time I said 'hey google what tune in stations can i listen to?' and now it says playing xxx radio on tune in. And it starts to play whatever last radio station I commanded hours ago.

Just moved house and have set up Google Nest, Home and Home Max on new broadband WiFi as other devices.
Yesterday we could play local radio (Triple M 104.7 FM) and today the Nest, Home and Home Max all reply 'can't play here try another device'. This is very frustrating as I have rebooted etc. and still no change - what has happened and how can I fix this so that it works same as previous?
04-10-2023 10:44 PM
Having the same problem. Can't play ANY radio through Nest or Hub. Was working fine last week. Also noticed my Google Assistant's voice has changed to a male, not by me... maybe some sort of auto-update has caused the problem.
04-11-2023 03:55 PM
Very frustrating - maybe we should all say 'HEY GOOGLE' how about fixing this issue as it appears to be something that is not isolated!

Same here, suddenly I can't play Triple M Newcastle & it tells me to try a different device. WTF so annoying
04-11-2023 03:54 PM
I agree 100% it is so annoying and sounds like Google is not interested as this has been a long running issue.
04-11-2023 04:59 PM
apparently triple m has moved their content to listnr, i have downloaded the app, signed in and then the radio station only plays for 5 minutes! also the instructions on the website say to say what i always have which is "hey google, play triple m brisbane 104.5" but it tells me "I don't know how to do that"
04-11-2023 05:40 PM
Anyone want to buy 2 nests and 2 speakers
I only purchased to listen to tripple m in various rooms. Useless now.
04-11-2023 01:46 PM
I've been playing the same station all day. I turned it off for a minute and when I tried to get it back I got "I looked for 98.5, but it either isn't available or can't be played right now." The problem is, it works on my Alexa. And, it's not a Tunein station.

Same here. I tried WNYC and WQXR, both New York City public stations, and WCBS Newsradio 880, a commercial station, and they all refused to play. I reset the device, but the result is the same. This is the primary function of the Nests in my house. Does anyone know if this is temporary?
04-12-2023 05:18 AM
Yep same here. no stations wfan, z100, long island tune in stations....nada
04-12-2023 01:22 PM
This is even happening with Sirius XM on all my assistant enabled devices. I say, "play The Blend on SirusXM" and get back "I looked for The Blend on SiriusXM, but it either isn't available or can't be played right now. Never had this issue before yesterday.
04-11-2023 02:53 PM
Ditto for me as of today 4/11/2023. Google home or mini's won't play any radio stations, no matter how I ask (by station #'s or by station names or when I add "on TuneIn" or "on Iheart Radio"). I get exact same response as you do.

Thank you, I have submitted the feedback on my unit, but the link you posted to the main thread doesn't go anywhere. The link goes to about:blank#blocked .
If we should update another thread, please update the link.
Thank you.

Same here. No radio via iHeartRadio, TuneIn, etc... No matter how many variations of the command is used.
04-11-2023 03:36 PM
Same here. My minis stopped playing any radio station AND my pixel 5 stopped as well! I can still manually open an app and play a radio station on the phone, but I can't ask it to play it. If I ask it, I get the same response as the Google home mini speakers that it can't find it/play it
04-03-2023 06:56 PM
Have played 3aw on nest for months now it has just stopped for no reason.
However I can get other radio stations

Same here. Called 3AW. 3AW are impossible to contact and you cannot get to talk to a person, you can only email them with problems!
3AW streaming stopped working earlier today (4/4/2023). Why?
04-04-2023 12:41 AM
Thus same this has happened to us. Have you been ablevto gix the problem. We use to listen through radioapp.
04-04-2023 01:21 AM
My husband has just finished resetting our speakers and they are all working now
04-04-2023 03:40 PM
What do you mean by resetting.
deleting speakers and reloading
tia
04-04-2023 04:10 PM
Restoring factory settings. Delete device the reinstall from the beginning
04-07-2023 05:15 PM
Its not the google device. 3aw have stopped their stream being available anywhere other than their app. There's nothing you can do, only they can fix this.

Hi folks,
This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Is the issue happening on all your Nest speakers?
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
Once done, play radio and tell me which stations are working and which are not. Also, try other music services like YouTube if it plays.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Dan

Have tried factory rest - it didn't work for me using Nest mini gen 2 and Google Home Smart Speaker. Seems to be an issue with all stations using Radio App (which includes 3aw). Stations using I Heart Radio work fine.
Am wondering if it's an issue with an update to the Google speaker range that has effected users across the globe - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/help/issues/smart-speaker/google-live-issue
Note the BBC poster only encountered the problem in the last few days. There's a similar report of users in France having the same issue.

Hi folks,
@Nannystorm, thanks for sharing your resolution. It really helps isolate the concern.
@MartinG1, @Melbagnato, has anyone had the chance to contact 3aw or the Radio app itself? They may have more information than us. The Nest speakers rely heavily on the functionality from 3rd party apps and services.
@JayKay2, @Ado, when you did the factory reset, was it the same steps as what you see in this link?
Looking forward to your response.
Best,
Dan

Hello. 3AW did not repond to my email and you can only contact them via email. They emailed back to me with a suggestion to check the Channel Nine (3AW parent company) help page. Useless.

i can not load any of the normal stations i listen to - it returns an internet query instead of the radio stations ....
04-12-2023 06:23 AM
yes on the google displays, it gives you links to the radio stations you've asked for.
04-11-2023 06:04 PM
This Issue started today when I said "Hey Google play 105.9 FM" it says I looked for 105.9 FM but it isn't available or it can't be played right now! It send me straight to Google search! I hope you fix this issue a.s.a.p.
04-11-2023 06:59 PM
I have the same problem. Up until a few days ago, I could just ask Google to play Triple M Sydney or 104.9 Sydney. Now it replies with 'I can't do this here but you can ask me to play thts on your other devices.'
