Ok, so suddenly my daughter (family link account) can't use "Hey Google find my phone" on any Google home device. It response is that notifications need to be turned on in the Home app of the phone. It's a family link account so there is no option to turn on notifications in the paired down Home app for family link. If she asks "who am I" it responds corectly.

Hey kiltguy2112,
A quick question: are you using an iPhone or iOS? Try turning on the notification of the Google Home app on your phone. Also, try rebooting your phone and Google Home.
Keep me posted!

Alex

No it's a 2020 Moto G Power. The problem is there is no notification option in the home app with a Family Link account. Kids misplace thier phones all the time, and this feature worked until very recently with this phone and account.

Hey kiltguy2112,
Got it. Could you check if her device is visible on Google Play
If the issue persists, try resetting your Google Home device.

Alex

Cannot sign that account into the play store from a browser, as it is a Family Link account.

Hey kiltguy2112,
You can sign in your account since you're the manager of your Family link account. You can check or add your daughter's phone to that page.
Best,
Alex
