Google does not give stock quote for Microsoft, Apple, Amazon,Tesla, nasdaq, ...
For other stock (GM, Ford, ...) it does work.
My language setting is Dutch.
Devices on which I experience the issue: Google Nest mini & Google Home Max
On my Android Phone the issue does not exist (i.e. on my phone Google Assistant gives a stock quote for Apple, ... ).

Thanks for posting and apologies for the inconvenience that you’re having when asking about stock quotes. I’ve tried to ask stock quotes from Microsoft, Tesla, Nasdaq and Amazon on our test device and it worked. May I know when and where you bought your Nest Mini and Google Home Max?
If your speaker or display doesn't provide the information you requested, be more specific with your request. See this guide.
I also suggest that you first change the Google Assistant language and your phone’s language from Dutch to English and see how it goes.

I appreciate that you reach out to me.
I just dit a test. I changed my language setting to English (US) (in the Google Home app).
After the language change I asked for the stock price of Microsoft & Tesla on my Nest Mini. That worked.
However when I changed the language back to Dutch Belgium (Nederlands België) the problem resurfaced.
That means, when I ask for the stock quote of Microsoft in Dutch (Wat is de beurskoers van Microsoft), Google Assistant replies that it does not understand (Ik het het niet begrepen). For stocks listed on other exchanges than the Nasdaq (e.g. Ford, Total Energies) I do get a stock quote.
My conclusion is that there is a problem with the Dutch (Belgium) language model used by Google Assistant. I don’t believe there is a hardware issue. My Nest mini (2de gen) is actually brand new (1 month old only).
Obviously I want to use my mother tongue when communicating with Google Assistant.
I would be great if there was a contact person for the Dutch Google Assistant model.

We appreciate your effort. I know it would be more convenient to use your first language when using your Google Nest speakers. By the way, have you already tried performing a complete reset to your Google Nest speakers? Let's try that first and make sure to select the correct region (Belgium) and your first language.

Asking stock prices is not limited to English.
I can ask stock prices in Dutch (Belgium), just not for stocks listed on the Nasdaq.
Strange not ?
Let me give you an example.
I can ask the stock price in Dutch from Ford, Total Energies, .... but not from Microsoft, Apple, ...
And let me also reiterate that the problem does not exist on my Android phone, but on the Nest mini (2nd gen) & Google Home Max.

Also, set your language to English. This might be a matter of country specifics where, as mentioned above by our Community Specialist Princesss, English is needed to kickstart the information from NASDAQ, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Tesla. If there are new changes, inform our higher tier of support via email.

It's strange that you ask me this question.
I already confirmed several times before that when I set Google Assistant to English, that it works. However I want to use Dutch. That's the issue.
It seems there is nobody working on the Dutch language.
If there is, I would appreciate getting in contact with that person directly.

Problem is still unresolved.
I am not in contact with higher level support.
At this point I have given up. I explained the problem too many times.
I think there is no support for the Dutch (Belgian) language.
