Google Home Hub Max Browser Timeout

There is no way to disable application timeout for the browser and other like applications. I can't just leave it on to read recipes because it will timeout and dismiss the browser after 5-10 minutes, this is ruining my experience with this device. After all these years, you'd think that this simple MUST HAVE feature would be included in the settings.

I HAVE TRIED to change "Screen timeout" setting which is a setting to turn off the entire screen after 5 minutes, that's not the correct setting, do not suggest that LOL. The only solution is to update and add options for application timeouts.

Hi Zezima,

I understand how important this feature is; however, it has yet to be added to Google Nest Hub displays’ settings. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and we’ll take this as feedback. We don’t have any news to share when this can be added, but you can always visit our Community page for any updates.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Kind regards,
Alex
