Google Home Mini is not getting recognized on the Google Home App.

My Home Mini isn’t getting recognized on the Google Home App or on Spotify. It still listens to my commands but I can not control it from my iPad. I do not know what to do. I have already tried many ways to fix this but it wouldn’t change a THING. 

Please respond to this quickly so this problem will be resolved.

Are you logged onto the Google Home app with the same Google Account you used to install your Google Home Mini originally?

Yes, I am logged on. I do not think you understand my problem here. My problem is that it keeps saying “Disconnected device” when my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine.3CE6ACEE-54F5-439B-89E3-C1C76789D584.jpeg

I understood your issue. I was trying to guess at possible causes. If your Google Nest Mini were connected to one Google Account while your phone or tablet were logged onto the Google Home app with another Google Account, you might get the same error.

And, as your screen capture indicates, if your phone or tablet were on one Wi-Fi network and your Google Nest Mini were on another, you'd get that message.

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you — let’s check it out. When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made or is this for a first time setup? Are your devices connected to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz?

 

MplsCustomer is correct. Let’s make sure that all your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network for them to sync with each other.

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.
