Google Home Minis- Delay in Replying to Voice Commands

Another Google upgrade/update? Started late on 12.3.2023 or early on 12.4.2023. Everything was wotking fine until then. Given that it has only been a few days since Google fixed the last debacle. Now whenever we try to use any voice command the response is extremely delayed. I asked google for the time and it took 45 seconds to reply. We tried to broadcast and it took over one minute to send it. 

We rebooted every device. We unlinked them and re-linked them. 

First it was the pulsing l ights, then it was the refusal to broadcast in our own voices, now it is extreme delays. 
Today I shop for competitors and file yet another complaint witht the FTC as I can only surmise that Google is actively looking for ways to gather our data.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing that with your Google Nest speakers. Has anyone of you already tried performing to reboot your devices after this experience? Let's try these steps first and see how it goes.

 

  1. Reboot your Google Nest Hub and Denon speaker - unplug your devices from the power source for at least a few minutes.
  2. Reboot your router - unplug your device from the power source for at least a few minutes.
  3. As soon as your devices are all plugged in, try to command it and see if it works.

Have you tried the steps posted above? If these steps won't work, we can try performing a complete reset. Here's how: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
