Jamesfec

I have two Google Home minis. Both set up on Google home - both working separately. Both on same WiFi network. They both appear on device list correctly.

trying to set up a speaker group but when I do only one of them features in the list of available speakers to add to group.
move tried factory resetting missing device - still no luck.
previously I had this working.

any ideas?

Yes done that but only one of the speakers appears in the list of speakers available to add to group. Yet both speakers are listed on the Google home devices list in the correct rooms.

Hi folks,

@RachelGomez123, thanks for the help.

@Jamesfec, that certainly isn't the experience we want you to have and we're here to help. A few questions: would you mind guiding us on how you did the factory reset? Was it the same way as found in this link? If it worked before, when did this stop working? It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops. Restarting your phone might also help. Delete the current speaker group afterwards then set up both your Google Home Mini on the same network under the same band frequency like 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.

Tell us how it goes.

Cheers,

Dan

Hi this is not resolved. Two speakers are set up and functioning separately but when you go to create a speaker group only one is listed to add. Both factory reeet. Both on same WiFi connection. Both in Google home. Can cast to either of them. So why can’t I add one to a speaker group???
