My screen was stuck on gray with the G so I unplugged it, plugged it back in with Volume pressed to put it in recovery mode. Then I did the factory reset for ten seconds only to have it stuck on a white screen.

Hi Jake, still having the same
issue. When I plug it in it displays the gray screen with the G and stays there indefinitely. When I perform the steps for recovery it goes white indefinitely. I have the first gen hub, and would love to get it back working.
thanks

I am having this issue please let me know how to fix it

I have exactly the same issue. Grey screen with a G in it, so do a factory reset the same way (volume up and down whilst powering back on), but once countdown to factory reset is complete it just goes to a white screen. Any solution to this much appreciated!

Same issue here too. Factory reset several times was no help. Nest returns to grey screen with white "G".

Same issue as well. Come on @Jake

I have the same issue. It’s very annoying

I have the same issue with mine. Was stuck on the grey screen with G symbol then after a factory reset it’s just a white screen
03-21-2022 06:53 PM
Has anyone removed this yet?

I've still got the same problem, many months on. I don't know if there is a different way to contact Google? Perhaps they don't read these messages, or don't care about the problem enough to respond. Either way, time to move. Have you ever tried an Amazon Echo?

I've got the same problem, trying to get support from Google they need a video but cannot view the MP4 my phone produces, you've got to laugh.
