I have the media alarm set to Spotify music to begin at 4 am. I am now all of a sudden getting this Google Assistant extremely annoying bong each morning instead of my music. If I go into my Home app I can see that Spotify is playing although it is not. If I adjust the sound the music begins to play. Does anyone know how to get rid of the Google Assistant from my alarm? It is not located anywhere in my alarms. I have reset the Google Mini to factory and also reset my alarm and voice controls several times. Still, that annoying bong comes back.

Hi RSVCS,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have. Let’s check what’s going on. A few things: does this alarm go off at that same time? Could you check if maybe you created a time based routine? Check this helpful link on how to manage your routines.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni

I still have not gotten any resolution about how to get rid of the annoying bong alarm of the Google Assistant that is interrupting my daily Media Alarm that I have set on my Google Mini. So yes I am still waiting for support to give me a resolution.

Hey there,
Got it. By the way, have you tried resetting your Nest Mini to its default settings? Also to make sure, what's the response of your speaker when you set up your media alarm? Could you try deleting it and create a new one?
Keep us posted.
Regards,
Alex

Sure I have filled out the form here also. This is only the second form now. I have posted for help in several places and I have been chasing a resolution now for a few weeks. This is crazy that Google Assistant can invade my space like this and no one knows how to disable it. I filled out a form that was also sent to my email. But that seemed to be just for feedback of some sort not for a resolution to my issue. Do we even have a choice not to have Google Assistant? It does not seem so to me. It looks like it is being integrated into my settings if I want it or not.

Sorry, I just saw your reply. Not sure why it did not show in my email. No, I do not have any schedule or routine set up. I have only set up the Media Alarm and then Google introduced the Assistant. It began interrupting my alarm and then I have not been able to remove it.
