Hi,
I'm using a Google Nest Audio and I have a frustrating issue with the Google Assistant. It always plays remixes, live versions or strange versions of song when i request a specific artist and song name.
I've been scrolling in this forum and this problem seems to have been around for quite a long time.
To give some examples: Shape of You Ed Sheeran, New Rules Dua Lipa, It takes Two Marvin Gaye, Diamonds Rihanna, ...
I can't say how much I'm disappointed by Google for failing on such a critical aspect when you are selling a product specifically designed for audio content.
For the specs I'm mostly using Apple Music but this issue also happens with Spotify.
Another issue I have more specifically with Youtube Music is that some music are simply impposible to listen when casting. For example, Say so Doja Cat, some songs by the Weeknd and Dido, well I don't remember them all because I could solve it by stop using Youtube Music and stop my premium subscription.
Well what else can i say ?
If you've experienced the same kind of issues could you please upvote this post. And if this message is read by the technical team of Google, could you please fix these issues ? This really ruins my experience with these speakers that would have been otherwise really great.

Hey Régis-I,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.
A few questions: when did it start happening? Do you have a premium subscription? What's the exact command you've used and what's the command of your Google Nest Audio when playing music?
Give these steps a try:
Hope this helps.
Best,
Alex

Hi,
I already tried the steps you specified but none of these change my problem. This was the reason I stopped my Youtube Premium in the first place. This problem seem to have been going around for quiet a long time now.
I searched the forum similar thread and I found these ones that are still not resolved.
To summarize the issue seems to occur on all streaming platforms Spotify, Youtube Music, Deezer, Apple Music wether it's premium version or not. I used Youtube Music, now I use Apple Music, I tend to have better results on Spotify but I don't want to take an additional premium subscription.
I hope this helps you better understand the situation.

Hi Régis-I,
Thanks for trying that, and sorry for the late reply. Could you check the My Activity section on your Google Home app and check if it heard the right command? You can try to use your phone's Google Assistant and observe if the result is the same. Check out the steps below on how to get to the My Activity section.
Check your Google Assistant activity history.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Juni
