Google Nest Hub 2nd Generation keeps restarting

Normand

Love my Google Home!  We've been adding more lights and controls for automation and voice control.  We have two Nest Hub 2nd Generation (displays) in the house.  For the last few weeks, these Google Nest displays keep resetting where you see nothing but the spiraling 4 colored dots.  Usually I would just unplug the device and it would restart correctly.  But today, this doesn't work.  No matter how often I unplug the display, I only get the spiraling 4 color dots and it doesn't go beyond that screen.  Interestingly, the voice response still works but the 4 dots will not go away.  I'm at a loss as what to do next.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Cheers!

Hello Jake,

Yes, indeed, I had seen Muddi's post.  My Nest Hubs still do reset on their own.  Not sure what time it happens, but quite often once I get up in the morning the Hub display will show the circling 4 colored dots although it will still respond to voice commands.  I found that when I unplug the device and wait longer than 10 seconds the unit will function properly upon reboot.  It's just the one device that does this now as the other one I haven't had any issues since.  I'm not too worried about it and was asking the community if others had same issue and how they fixed it.  I won't be opening a trouble ticket for this issue.  Thanks for the follow up 🙂
