For a number of years now, people have been asking and subsequently requesting an improvement to the Google Nest Hubs to be able to access Google Programs such as Google Drive.
Over this time, and multiple requests, Google has seemed to ignore the 'wants and needs' of us, the consumer.
I have been putting off purchasing a Google Nest Hub Max, to replace the old iPad I use in the kitchen at home because of this reason.
My husband, who uses a Google Pixel phone for work, would like to stream all our devices to one brand, so that we use Google for Cameras, door bell, speakers, etc. I am hesitant to do this due to the the inability to access Google Drive, etc, through, funnily enough, Google devices.
Will these requests that have been made for years eventuate anytime soon? Or should I continue using a competitor- being Apple - and purchase new iPads, phones, etc, where I can certainly do more? At least that global corporation appears to listen and then enact upon consumer needs and wants.

Also, I am aware that the go-to of this forum is to direct consumers to where they can provide feedback - which clearly isn't considered, to 'help' pages, that describe other ways to continue not being able to access what is wanted.
