Google Nest Hub Max connectivity issues

My google nest hub max had been working perfectly, then when I installed a mesh network (eero) it often times has delays in responding to the commands, freezes up during routine functions, or listens for awhile then responds "hmmm...something went wrong try again in a few seconds". All my other devices are fine, I run network speed tests and I have download and upload speeds of 400+mbs standing right next to the Google Nest Hub Max. Is this another example of Google and Amazon not working well together? Should I have bought the google wifi?

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Nest Hub Max. Let's try to get to the bottom of this.

A few questions:

  • When did the issue start?
  • How far is the Nest display from the router?
  • What is the firmware version of your Nest Hub Max?
  • Are there other Google speakers/displays working on the same network?

Let's try these troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Move your Nest Hub Max within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your Nest display and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
