My Google Nest Hub Max live camera is OFF, the switch in the back said is ON, the camera works with Google Duo video calls but the live camera isn’t working. All other functionalities are working fine.

I am having the same issue. I just bought the Nest Hub Max and see online this is a common problem. I have even factory reset the device which does not fix anything. In the Google Home App, I am unable to turn on Home Monitoring features in the settings for this camera. It goes right back to the off setting each time.
This stinks that I just bought an expensive device and it doesn't even do what its supposed to.

I am sorry for the late reply again. I would recommend double-checking and ensuring all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If not, they may not connect and work as intended. If your devices are all on the same network and still not working, please let me know.

Hi Jake:
The problem still the same. Both devices are under the same Wi-Fi network but only the doorbell is working, the live video on Nest Hub Max is not.

My camera has not worked since it was installed (Hub Max). Are these all faulty? Do we need to return them to the store for a replacement?
