Hello to all,
Lately i'm having a problem in mu nest hub. Every time that the alarm clock rings and i turn it off, when i swipe left to acess the gogle home features, appears the word "clock" besides the speaking icon, as i was talking that command, and the screen shows the clock again. In the end of the day when i try to swipe, everithing works fine.
This is very anoying because i have a smart light turning with the alarm clock, and i need to turn it off befora i leave the room, and i cnat do that because it doenst let me swipe left.
Thank in advance for any help.

Hi CarlosCarneiro,
Thanks for reaching out.
Sorry to hear about what you're experiencing right now with your Google Nest Hub. A few things I'd like to ask-- when did you notice this? Have you tried to perform a complete reset to your Google Nest display to see if there would be any changes after? If not, let's go ahead and try that to see if that will work.
Keep me posted.
Best,
Princess

Hi,
I've also been having the same issue as Carlos and I can confirm that I've had this issue for a couple of months now. I would say 2-4 months would be an accurate time frame. Unplugging and Plugging the Device back in sometimes solves the issue but it gets stuck on the clock again after a day or so. The only UI I can use is swipe up to bring up settings such as brightness, sound, settings etc.
Conducting a factory Reset to my Google Nest Display did not help the issue either.
The only way I can access my lighting for example is through voice commands which can be inconvenient at times. It's worth noting I can only change the brightness or the colour of the lighting after making a voice command.
I am currently on Fuchsia Version 6.20211109.1.3166240 and Software Version 45.1.15.450549110 for context!
Hope this helps!

No, I didn't make a reset yet.

I'm experiencing the same issue - 50% of the time I go to do anything with the screen, the screen is stuck on clock. This morning I noticed that when it's stuck on clock, alarms do not work (made me late to work today).
Rebooting the device will make it work for a period of time, but it will eventually go back to the error state. Other commenters noticed that after the alarm would go off, it would go into error, but I haven't been observant enough to see this myself, although it seems likely.

Hey folks,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you and thanks for providing us the details. To confirm, can you still use voice commands once your Google Nest Hub is stuck on the clock screen? If possible, could you send us a picture or a short video clip of what's happening so that we can check this further?
Thanks,
Alex

Yes the voice assistant still works, but it takes several seconds longer to respond when you ask it to do something.
I linked a video from my Drive folder - let me know if you have trouble accessing. Sorry for the shakey hands

Hey whiteside1013,
Thanks for the video, it helps us to get a better understanding of what's happening with your Nest Hub. Could you please provide the cast firmware and software version of your Nest Hub. Once done, kindly fill out this form and let us know once you're done.
Best,
Alex

Good morning, I already filled the form. I can use the voice commands but in the morning I don't want to talk to wake the others from the house. Every time I silence the alarm or is stuck on clock and I can't turn off the light that is connected to the alarm, I have to go to the Google home app and turn it off.
