I’m trying to connect my google nest to a new wifi device through my iPhone. The instructions on how to forget the wifi and connect a new one didn’t work so I forgot the device and I’m trying to reconnect it again. No wifi options appear when trying to connect and I have to enter mine manually. Every time I get the same message which says the nest is connected to the wifi but couldn’t connect to my phone and to check the network privacy settings on my phone. I check the settings and they are on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, restarted the wifi, factory reset the google nest, my phone software and app are both up to date. This is happening on both a google nest and JBL Google device also. Any suggestions for troubleshooting? Please help!

Thank you so much! I turned off my mobile data and used only the wifi and was able to connect everything. Happy days. 🙂

Thank you so much! I turned off my mobile data and used only the wifi and was able to connect everything. Happy days. 🙂
