Google home household member can’t control speakers

I have a google home set up and I have my spouse full access to the devices as a household member. When he clicks on any of the devices that also have a speaker, he gets an error message that he’s not on the same wifi network as the devices which isn’t true- we are all on the google wifi network. I have removed the hime from his phone and added it back as well as restarted all the devices but this hasn’t fixed it. Please help!

I understand that this can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

I do still need help. I haven’t Tried any additional troubleshooting since I made the post. The only think else I can think to do is to factory reset my google wifi points and factory reset my google homes and start from scratch. I’d rather not do this however.

Hey there ALR, 

Sorry to hear that you're still having troubles with this. Unfortunately, that is the next step that I was going to suggest as a factory reset on the devices does fix the majority of issues that a user may be having. You can also try to unlink and relink the devices to the app as well as uninstall and reinstall the app as well.
