Google home mini won't connect to network

My mini (2d gen?) won't connect to my network although it has the same password as before. I  have factory reset it more than 5times now but no joy! I also have a  similar mini in the kitchen that has reconnected.  In addition my Amazon dot Gen 2 reconnected no issues.   My device is only 10ft away from the router (Orbi mesh system).  It is also on the night stand beside my bed from phone and tablet.  Please help, what else can I do?

Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response. I know how it feels when you can't connect your Google Home Mini to your network. Let's dig deeper.

 

To further isolate the issue, please try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home Mini). Once done, check if your device will have the same behavior.

Alex I am connected to my network now.  Had to forget the connection with the router and manually input the password to get it to work.
