Google home not responding

My Google Home will not do anything when I say OK Google or hey Google. I have factory reset it several times, the mic is on definitely, I have the same Google account linked to my phone and linked to the Google Home. I have had this Google home for 3 to 4 years and this is the first time I am having problems with it. It is connected to my Wi-Fi everything is connected and working like it should be however my problem is when I say hey Google or OK Google it does not light up it does not respond the only way I can cast to it or have it do anything is by casting it through my phone. It does not let me set a timer on it anymore it does not  let me check the weather anything that the Google assistant can do it will not do. The Google assistant is connected to the Google Home like I said I have reset everything several times.

I am having the same issue. Has anyone contacted you with a fix or let you know there is an update coming?

I am also having the same issue too as well Google home is not responding no lights I have to cast everything by my cell phone and still having the same problems I've been having same problems for the last 5 months now.
