Home Hub not connecting to new Wi-Fi

We changed to a new router. Connected all other devices in home with no problems including google home speaker. Cannot connect google home hub, the device is recognised but will not connect all troubleshooting options have been applied. Is this affecting anyone else? Is the product at fault or is there something else to try? Puzzled!!
