Google home volume

I cast a podcast to my google home mini for my daughter every night for her to sleep to. However I continue to play on my phone. Well I can't control the sound on my Galaxy 23 any more because my volume keys immediately turn the volume up and down on her google home mini. How do I stop from controlling the sound of the media I cast?

You can go into settings, sounds and then media control. Depending on your device, you should see an option. Or in settings, connections, Bluetooth. Again media volume or playback.

Hi Lindsay101,

Thanks for posting.

Have you already tried the steps provided by DirtyDroidX? How was it? It would be nice if you could try to cast from your phone to your Google Home Mini. Once the cast video/audio is active, open a different app and try to change the volume in-app, not the volume button of your phone.

Tell me how it goes.

Best,

Dan
