@Martine1

Maybe it's a bug related to what happens on our Nest Hub Max, which freezes on occasion when turning off the camera on the Hub.

@MplsCustomer
thank you for your response.
in my situation, when I finished a Google Duo call the screen froze even when the camera was still on.  I’m wondering if I should return it?

Hey Martine1,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue. I appreciate @MplsCustomer for updating this thread.

I know the feeling when you're having issues with your Google Nest Hub Max - we'd love to help. A few questions: when did the issue start? What country are you located in? How often does it happen? Please check the current firmware version of your device, and if it's updated to Fuchsia.

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the display screen.
  2. Tap Settings > About devices.
  3. Scroll to the bottom. If there's a Fuchsia version indicator, this means that the device runs Fuchsia.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

MUddi

Hi Muddi,

This situation happened in Montreal, Canada, and happened once. Since then, I haven’t tried it again. I’m not sure what firmware is installed because I purchased it for my parents and I don’t live in the same city as them.

Thank you

Hey Martine1,

Got it! It is best if we troubleshoot the issue while you have it beside you. Is there anyone who can help your parents check the device?

Cheers,

Muddi
