Google mini as alarm clock

Can't find a way to do 2 things:

1. Enable an alarm time remotely with the home app. Only way I've found is to audibly ask it when I'm in the same room. (Partner is sleeping)

2. Silence an alarm without audibly saying "stop".  wake up on my own a few minutes before the alarm due to go off and partner still sleeping
