My teenaged son generously purchased a Google Nest Hub 1st generation for me for Christmas in 2020. Just yesterday it stopped working for no reason at all in the middle of the night. The screen is completely gray with a G in the middle of it. It won't respond and won't do anything. I've tried restarting, changing outlets, and resetting it and nothing works. It looks like the warranty for this item is for only one year 😡 So you mean to tell me a $100 item that I've had for 14 months is now complete junk?? I have $20 alarm clocks that still work after 15 years. I am disgusted and I will probably never buy another Google product again!
