I recently bought a Google nest hub max. I discovered today that the app launcher didn't launch, not even the "see all" button. I did a reboot of the display in the Home app on my phone and got the launcher back with one app icon and the see all button. I pressed the see all button, but didn't see all. I only saw some of the installed apps. This short video I made shows the present problem. It isn't elegant, I didn't use a tripod, but I think you get the idea. I hope you have a suggestion to solve this problem, other than a factory reset.

Apologize for the late response. Thanks for sharing the video. I know how challenging it is when the app launcher on your Google Nest Hub Max is not working. A few questions to help us isolate the issue.
Please note that the app launcher will only show the applications/linked services on your Google Nest Hub Max.

has been trying to help me with the problem. Their last suggestion was a factory reset, which I first suggested to them. It didn't work.
Their last communication to me was on Jan. 27, 2022:
"We appreciate your effort. We'll pass this to our team and we'll loop back in as soon as we have more details to share. In the meantime, we hope you have a good one."
I Haven't heard anything back since then.
Now to your questions, starting with the firmware version:
System firmware version: 276689
Cast firmware: 1.56.276689
The issue started a few days after I bought it. It happens whenever I pull up the app launcher screen. The only apps "linked" to my device were those already installed on it. I added nothing.

No, that's not true. It does NOT show all the apps that were already on the device. THAT is the problem!
