Google nest lost screen display

I have only had my nest for 18 months or so and the screen has gone black. It started with a white line down the right-hand side of the screen and now it gone completely black with a faint halo in the middle. I have tried a factory reset to no avail. It still functions with voice but there is no display. The display is kind of necessary !  Can anyone help as I keep going around in circles on the google help page
