Hi there , I have a few google minis speakers 1 and 2 generation , two google speakers , tow google nest hubs and one google nest hub Max, none of them are able to set an alarm since a couple weeks ago July 2022. I already re-set the devices and connection to the internet. Please help.

It must be a frustrating experience when you can't set up an alarm on your Google Home and Nest devices. Could you tell us the current firmware version of your speakers. Also, for Google Nest Hub, please provide us the operating system as well.

Thanks for coming back to us. Please note that we can only guarantee the full functionalities of the Google Home and Nest speakers or displays on those countries where it is officially released and supported. Currently, Portugal is not one of them but we're always looking for ways to bring the devices on additional countries.
The best thing to do now is to send feedback via voice command on your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback" followed by a brief description about the issue. You can also visit this link for more steps.

Hi Muddi,
Thanks for your reply but i have to say it doesn't make any sense , firs of all the speakers always worked fine until a few weeks back , they are set to English so location means nothing , they tell the time and weather just fine so not being located in an specific physically in some specific country can not dictate functionality , it like you are saying that both my Phones cannot function outside US, I own an PIXEL 4XL and I can set alarms with my voice ! So the problem is something else for sure.

Sorry if you feel that way. I understand your point. However, since you are located in a country where the device is not fully supported it may or may not receive the software needed and that's one of the possible reason why you're experiencing issues with your device. Your phone is different from your Nest Hub Max - they have different functionalities and capabilities. Your network IP address will affect how your speaker will work.
Moving forward, we still forwarded this to the team, and best thing to do now is to send feedback on your device.

Hi Muddi , a few days back I went to Google assistance settings and notice that I had English as first language and then Portuguese as my second language, so I removed Portuguese altogether and suddenly the alarm function came-back to life again! So all good now. Thanks for trying to solve this with me!!!
