Having a problem with a choppy sound connecting Google nest with Bluetooth speaker.

Choppy sound comes out of Bluetooth speaker regardless of what application used on Google nest. Only occurs when on Bluetooth speaker. Speaker does not have issue when connected to phone.

Hi folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

We're sorry to hear about this experience. A few things I'd like to ask-- when did you notice this? Have you already tried to disconnect the Google Nest speakers from the other speaker? Let's go ahead and try to disconnect it first and isolate the issue by trying to connect it to a different device like phone and see if you will get the same results.

Thanks @MikeClark for helping out.

Yep disconnected it, connected speaker to phone and fine. Nest plays music perfectly from my MacBook through the nest so the connection that way is fine.

Hey mardi,

To confirm, how far is your Bluetooth speaker from your Nest speaker? Let's go ahead and factory reset your device. This will erase all the settings on your speaker and it will require you to set up the device again. If you want to proceed, follow the steps on this link.

Keep us posted.

Cheers,

Muddi
