Home Mini answers "Your Google home isn't setup yet" despite it's already setted up

I have a problem, what is that when I spoke to Google home mini it stays without answering for a few seconds and it answers "Your Google home isn't set up yet, to get started download of Google Home app in a phone or tablet" I tried it all. From removing the device from the app and reinstalling it, redoing my home settings to completely restarting the device with the reset button. I had the device for years and never had any problems, I don't know what to do anymore I need help.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going.

When did it start happening? Are you using a private home network? If so, do you have a dual-band router? Could you try opening and taking a screenshot of your Google Home app feed history to check if there is any recorded activity of the device being unlinked from the app?

Hi Alex. Thanks for your reply.

It started happening almost 2 months ago. At that time, it used to say that phrase every once in a while but now it says it all the time and I can't use it anymore. I'm using a private home network and yes it has a dual-band router in 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz. I reinstalled it so that's what it appears on the feed that is attached.

Thanks for the update. Could you provide us the cast firmware version of your Google Home Mini? Also, have you had the chance to set it up using a mobile hotspot for isolation?

Hi,

I'm attaching the technical information of the Google Home Mini. I didn't have the chance to set it up with a mobile hotspot, how would that work? I have to connect it to the hotspot of a cell phone and leave it like that to see if it produces the error or not?

Hi cushiontaxiway,

Yes! If possible, to better isolate the issue. You need to have a separate phone that will serve as a source of internet (mobile hotspot) and the other as your setup device. Connect your setup device to the other phone's mobile hotspot and attempt to set up your Home Mini to see if you'll get the same result.
