Home voice commands incorrectly turning Hive linked items on and off

For the last few weeks Google home had been turning my hot water function on or off without me asking this has resulted in both a huge heating bill and this morning a cold shower.

My lights and heating are controlled by Hive.

It also turns on lights incorrectly. I have everything set up in separate rooms with no similar names.

Adding items to shopping list has also stopped working. It says it has added the item to my list it then proceeds to spell out the word shopping but the item is not actually added to my list

Could you please verify, aside from you, are there any other home members linked to your Google Nest speakers? If yes, do you have an idea if they can control your smart home devices?

Let's go ahead and try first to reboot all your devices, including your Google Nest speakers, lights and heating as well your router. From there, we can try to monitor first if there would be any changes after rebooting it.

I have rebooted everything, shall have to wait and see if it works properly now.

I changed my list to work with Google Keep and it is now adding items to my lists it still insists on spelling out the name of the list though

It seems to have mostly resolved. It still somes times turns all lights on or off instead of one but the water has not been turned on or off and the shopping list issue has resolved once I moved it to keep. The spelling thing stopped a few days ago.

My Google is also spelling out shopping when adding something to the list. It also didn’t add stuff when I asked it. I deleted the list and re-added it. It still spells out s.h.o.p.p.i.n.g though!
