Homescreen is possessed

Naomi_M

Hi, so for the last couple weeks (I think this started after an update) my Google home has been constantly switching the screen from the black time screen to the photo homescreen and then back again. This repeats infinitely throughout the day, never stops. It even goes back to it after a little bit of time after using spotify for example, the music still plays but I can't remain on the app screen. We gave been getting more and more issues as of late with her just not listening at all and giving us constant advertisements.

But the issue I would like to fix is definitely that flipping homescreen. I have had it of the soccet for a couple minutes but without result. Also cleaned the thing but that changed nothing. Help?

Hi @Naomi_M

Sounds like the software is a bit borked at the moment. Did you try a factory reset?

Please remove the Nest Hub from your Google Home app before doing the factory reset. ☺️
