How To Add Shortcut Icons?

donb1

I see that Hub adds shortcuts from time to time, but it decides what gets shortcut on its own.  I want to add my own such as Open Spotify.  Then a couple of days later, it magically added an Open Spotify shortcut.  That lasted a couple of days but now it is gone.

Also,

  1. I can use routines but those are buried several layers in.
  2. I don't like saying, Hey Google, Open Spotify, all the time.

Hey donb1,

Thanks for reaching out.

Shortcuts are now Custom Routines. While you can schedule a Routine for when you need it, or start it any time with a command, shortcut icons aren't supported. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. Let us know if you have other questions or concerns as I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Best,

Alex

I do see shortcuts icons but Hub makes them based on who knows what algorithm, and also removes them based on who knows why.  It would be nice to set one's own and have them stay put.  I have routines set up but have go to home control > routines, then scroll to routine.

If the routine was on the screen I need it on, then that would be great.  Instead, I have to leave the screen I am on to traverse to the routines.
