assuming you have a nest thermostat. Make sure you’re signed in to your new WiFi network
1 Press the thermostat ring to bring up the Quick View menu.
2 Select Settings .
3 Turn the ring and select Network.
4 Select the new Wi-Fi network by name and enter the new password. It may take a few moments for your network to appear.

Hi mrreese40,

Thanks for posting.

If both the existing and the new Wi-Fi networks are available:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap the device card of the preferred speaker or display.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings > Device information > Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi network listed is the network the device is currently connected to.
  4. To change the Wi-Fi network, tap Forget > Forget network.
  5. Go back to the home screen.
  6. Tap Add.
  7. Tap Set up device > complete the setup steps.

If the original Wi-Fi network is no longer available or accessible:

  1. Attempt to connect the device to the new network by following the steps to setup Google Home.
  2. If you are unable to change the network settings from within the Google Home App or having issues adding the device to another Wi-Fi network, perform a factory reset.

Important: Once you complete the factory reset of the device, you'll need to set up your Google Home device again on your home Wi-Fi network and link a Google account to the device.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Dan
