How do I stop my Home Mini from disconnecting from Bluetooth

Bluetooth disconnects randomly throughout the day and disconnects instantly if I try to reconnect. Occasionally it'll "connect" but won't play any audio, sometimes when I pair it just "thinks" until I restart it. Been having the issue for years but recently it's every single day.
 
When it happens I turn Bluetooth off and on, restart both my PC and home, forget pairs and re-pair, and finally factory reset. But I don't think any of that actually helps since I do it 10 times over just praying that'll work this time (it's not working at all now).
 
At this point I only use it as a Bluetooth speaker so it's pretty frustrating that it can't do the one thing I ask, I feel like I spend more time trying to get it to work than actually using it

Hi there - I have the exact same issue with my google nest speaker. I have to reconnect many times throughout the day. I'd love to know how to fix it.

Hello, I have the same problem with the new nest mini speaker, but that only happens when using my laptop. I would like to know if there is any solution.

The problem is there when I use my iPhone to the NestMini. It sounds very good until it disconnects @random. Sometimes it will play for 4 or 6 hours and sometimes it plays for 2 minutes and then it's disconnected... Google knows for over a year that this 'bug' is present. When will you repair this? We paid money for this speaker, so i expect that it works oké...
