How to display a Nest camera's history?

I bought a Google Nest Hub Max mostly to watch my Nest security cameras. I was doing this previously using Safari, where I could scroll back in the camera's history to see what triggered an event.  Is there a way to do this with the Nest Hub?

Also, is there a way to make the Nest Hub default to one of the cameras rather than to an image when it boots up or resets after an update?

Judging from other posts in this forum--and in our experience--there is no way to see camera history from a Nest Hub or Nest Hub Max. And I haven't seen any option that would let us default to broadcasting one of the cameras instead of an image on a Nest Hub or Nest Hub Max.

That's too bad. It really limits the value of the device as a security monitor. My sister wanted a couple of them so she could monitor the cameras in her store from home and vice versa without having to keep a computer up and running Safari on nest.com.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

@MplsCustomer, I appreciate your help.

@Walk-The-Dogs, viewing camera history is only available once you have a Nest Aware subscription. To watch, you must log in using a computer as there is no way for Google Nest display to store video history since it has no storage.

Hope it answers your question.
