How to stop "Hey google, show my photos"

Mwheeler

My wife has a special folder to store all of the photos for all Chromecast and displays.  I found out today that my memories are showing on our displays and if either my son or I say "Hey Google, show me my photos."  It will show all photos from my google account.   Is there a way I can unlink my google photos from our Google Home network and ensure that only photos from our designated photo folder will be displayed?  I already checked the Google home app, found the display, and confirmed that my photos are turned off and only the designated folder is turned on.

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out, let me help you out.

If you have a Google Nest display it will automatically be able to view photos from the Google account you've used to set up your device. If you don’t want a photo to appear on your Nest display, move it to archive in Google Photos. Also, to hide photos with a specific person’s face, remove their face group in Google Photos.

Note: Archived photos and photos with hidden faces remain in any albums they were already added to. You may need to disable the albums or manually delete the photos from them.

Best,

Alex
