Hub Max doesn't display Family Notes.

My Hub will create a Family Note, but when it returns to the main screen it doesn't show the note in the top right hand corner.  I have to ask "Google, show me family notes". Then it'll pull it up.  I'm trying to create a sticky note to use at home so we know if our dog has been fed that morning or evening.  This seemed like a perfect solution, but not if we have to manually pull up the notes Every time. Any suggestions?

This is so silly... why bother to ask if we need help if they don't mean it?? Is it so they can feel as they are doing something about it? I am genuinely curious. 

These specialists apparently specialize in lip service only.

I can't figure out if Google knows this is an issue or if they think we are using it wrong.   Can someone from Google acknowledge this is an issue?

Hi, please let us leave a note on the google nest display before leaving home. How long it should display on the ambient screen should be left to the user. This is a very necessary and basic feature. All of us are really pissed that google wouldn't fix it for so long. I can see many comments mentioning migrating to alexa because of this issue. Really there is no bigger shame.

Can't believe what I'm reading. I'm brought the Nest Hub Max for family notes and found this thread after not being able to show the notes on my screen. I can't believe it....  And this has been going on for over a year. Surely Google can be pulled up for being misleading?

Yup. At this point I've just given up Google and bought myself 3 Amazon Echo Show 15, they work perfectly! I can only recommend everyone else to do the same if they want sticky notes or widgets of any sorts, plus Amazon support at least acknowledges if they make any mistakes on their parts, unlike Google who never seem to admit to their faults. I've been in contact with Google support several times now and each time I regret it cause they always spin it around to make it seem like it's my fault, also in this case with the "sticky notes" problem. Amazon on the other hand, they ALWAYS take the blame no matter what, that's what customer service is about. Anyway, I'm really happy about the echo show 15 and can only recommend it.

Finally got an answer.  Turns out that they turned this feature off.  Per Google support "

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Customer Care Team.

There was a feature change that resulted in this. You may send feedback to request this feature be added back on the system.". So years later we learn that the info about this appearing for 24 hours is incorrect.

so are you saying there isnt an alternative to leaving a post note on the ambient screen?
