Hi Leach81,

Thanks for reaching out.

Sorry to hear about what's happening with your Google Nest display. Does it have any display? Is it still turning on?

I'd love to know more details so we can start trying some steps that might resolve this.

Best,

Princess

Hi Tasha31,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I know how it feels to not have a working device when needed. I'd love to help!

A few questions:

  • Is your Nest Hub plugged directly into a wall outlet or surge protector?
  • When the Nest display is plugged into the wall outlet, does it show any LED lights that indicate that it has power? Refer to [Reference] Google Home LED lights.
  • Are other devices able to receive power from the same outlet?
  • Is the official power adapter that came with the display used on the device?
  • Have you tried another outlet?
  • Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?

Let's try these steps below:

  1. Plug your Nest Hub into a different wall outlet.
Note: Make sure that your device is not connected to a surge protector to rule out all other hardware.
  2. Discharge your Nest display:
    1. Unplug the power adapter from the outlet and the Nest display.
    2. Leave it unplugged for 20 seconds.
    3. Plug the power adapter into your Nest Hub.
    4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet that works.
    5. Check if any LED lights would appear on the back of your Nest display.
  3. If you have a second Nest display, please use the power adapter from the one that currently works.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi
