Hub won't show Camera stream unless it is also being streamed on another device

When trying to stream my Nest Indoor Wired camera to my Nest Hub, I only get a black screen that reads "LIVE" in the corner. I don't get any real video. However, if I start the stream on another device, such as my phone or the Hub Max in the other room, it displays normally.

It seems audio is still coming through, but the video remains black.

If I close the second device, the Hub screen returns to black after a couple of seconds.

The hub is new, I have only had it installed for about two weeks. Is there anything to try or should I just try to warranty the Hub?

Hi HomeDude,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

We're sorry to hear about this experience. It's quite strange knowing that other devices work and it looks like it's isolated on your Nest Indoor Wired camera. Have you already tried to reboot your devices after noticing this?

Let's start unplugging your devices including your camera, Google Nest Hub and router simply by unplugging all of them from the power source. After a few minutes, plug back the devices and try saying "OK Google, sync my devices".

Let me know if this steps work.

Best,

Princess
