I used to connect my JBL Flip 4 to my Google Nest as a Bluetooth speaker and it worked only as a music player. Whenever I said “Ok Google”, the answers always came on Google Nest device, not on JBL - this one kept the music playing. After an update, though, whenever JBL is connected, answers to “OK Google” plays on JBL, stopping the music. I don’t know how to fix it to the way it used to be. Can anyone help me, pls?

I got tired of dealing with that. The easiest way was to use Siri and Google simultaneously, but now Siri stopped reading results.
I thought there was an option to target devices with certain actions in the Assistant app settings, but I can't find it.

I wish there was a way to stop the google assistant from parroting what I've just asked it. I absolutely loathe hearing my device speak, and there appears to be no way of getting it to stop

HI folks,
@rapha_prado, @thisisausername, @seb_pinter, This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?
It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:
You can also choose which device is the default. Here’s how:
Keep me posted
Best,
Dan

Hi rapha_prado,
Got it, Try to re-pair your Bluetooth speaker and observe if it will make a difference.

There's no answers. The functionality doesn't exist. Also, it's alarming how many times I say "hey Google, play some music" and she relies with "ok, playing Lewis Capaldi". That's not music.

Hi seb_pinter,
Let’s revert your Nest Hub to its default and original settings by doing a factory reset. Follow the steps below:
Once done, redo the setup.
Kind regards,
Dan
