is there a way to :
VOICE IS NOT AN OPTION, as she can not pronounce all these things correctly. calling her on the display is hard too as she can barely use the smartdisplay (gestures and tapping is hard for her)
This is an ACCESSIBILITY ISSUE
Yes! I am craving this kind of feature badly. I just want to have Google home turn on things like 3rd party lighting solutions from something OTHER than voice. I have seen all kinds of workarounds like "Use echo to say the command you want and place it next to the google hub so that when you press the button the echo gives the command to Google", but that is TBH, and INSANE solution.
We need more abstract triggers for Google Home routines please!!
I wanted to check in and see if you managed to see Muddi's post? Please let me know if you have any questions from here. I would be happy to assist, and ensure you are good to go.
I want to ensure you are good to go, and everything is working properly. Please let me know if you are still having trouble, as I will be locking the thread in 24 hours due to inactivity.
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community and sorry for the delayed response.
Please note that we have very limited support on third party speakers with built-in Google Assistant like Lenovo. You might need to reach out to them for better assistance.
Speaking on behalf of our Google Home speakers and displays, the only option to make Duo calls is via voice command and Nest screen.
