Inherited Google Home Mini

After my brother passed away, I inherited his Google Home Mini. Because he was the owner, and can't transfer ownership, how do I go about doing this?

Hi universaleric,

We offer our sincere condolences to you and your family. 

For your Google Home Mini, since it was set up on your brothers account, we might need to revert it back to its default and original settings by doing the factory rest, making it easier for the setup. Follow the steps below:

1. On the bottom of Home Mini, press and hold the factory reset button located below the power cord. 
2. Look for a circle etched into the base. 
3. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. 
4. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.
