Music breaks up when casting on Google Mesh

I have a Google mesh with Google minis and two display hubs. When I cast sometimes the music plays fine but more so now it starts stuttering and breaking up. When this happens I lose control of the network from Google Home app. I have to unplug the mesh and restart it. Then once it restarts I can stop it before it starts to stutter again. This occurs when casting YouTube, SiriusXM, and iHeart Radio app. I can't seem to find any issues on this but it is rendering the system pretty useless from a music perspective which is largely why I purchased all the minis.

I have checked and am using the latest Google Home app. would appreciate any insights.

Thanks!

JHH

Hi JHH,

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you please tell us the distance between the speakers and the mesh Wi-Fi? To further isolate the issue, can we try to set up one Google Nest display to a network without involving the Google Mesh Wi-Fi to see if you will also experience the same results after?

Keep me posted.

Best,

Princess

Thanks Jake, I have taken both Displays out of the mesh and the breaking up appears to go away. There is no issue with the distance on the mini's and the access points to the mesh. When it breaks up its not an individual speaker its the entire system. There appears to be an issue with the Display units either singularly or both being on the mesh that cause the problem. One is the first generation and the second is the newer generation. Are there issues reported with interacting on the same mesh?

Thanks!
