I would be more than happy to help look into this issue. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

• Which Google Home device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
• How are you trying to play Spotify? 
  • Voice Command? Through the App?
• Are you receiving any error messages from the device or the app?
• Is this happening with all media you try to play? (YouTube, Pandora, etc.)
• What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
