My nest mini 2 time zone stuck

Hello!

I am looking for some assistance with changing my nest mini 2 time zone. For some reason my nest mini is stuck with central standard time zone and I’ve been wanting to edit it to mountain standard time. Can anybody help me? I’ve tried changing my Chromecast and Google calendar time zone but it does not seem to work and it’s affecting my routines and everything else.

no, it didnt work. i even tried with an address elsewhere and still stuck and this is interfering with my other schedule rutines and wifi electronics because of the time on google

Hi Kittyisa90,

I’m sorry to hear that the routines and other features are affected because of the incorrect timezone on your Nest Mini. Also, thank you for doing the steps before posting. I’d be glad to help and find the solution for this. A few questions: why is there a need to change from CST to MST? Have you moved location or it just hasn't been working since?

It would really help us isolate your concern if you try the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. At the top, make sure the home name is listed. If needed, tap the name to change the home.
  3. Tap Settings>Home information>Home address​.
  4. Enter/Remove the address>Save.
  5. Unplug your Nest Mini and plug it back in after 2 minutes.
  6. Make sure your phone is set in the correct time zone.

Hi

i have tried many things as well as this, tried to share some screenshots of what my google search shows as my time zone (showing as CST when reality is MST) i am not sure if there is an email so i can share.

I really appreciate you doing the steps provided above.It would really be helpful if we revert your Nest Mini back to its default and original settings by doing a factory reset. Click here about how to and do the setup again.

Thank you for doing the reset on your Nest Mini and apologies for the delayed response. Let's take a look into this further, could you make sure the timezone on the phone is also updated to the correct one? It would also be of big help if you could check the info about your account and address on Google Maps and tell me how it goes.

Hello, there was no case id on the email, would you be able to provide a good contact number where i can get that to be looked at?

the email i received says the below:
