Hi all,

From 1st day, Nest audio gets disconnected from my MacBook all sudden, and I can not pair again for several hours, and it works after while.

I thought it will pass but no.

Since it passed 3 weeks, i can not return it.

What should I do?

Many thanks! 🙂

Hi there!

Thanks for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Audio is experiencing Bluetooth Disconnections. I'm happy to help.

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • How often does it happen?
  • Are there other nearby Bluetooth devices turned on?
  • Can the Nest Audio be played on either device?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Melany

Hello Melany,

Thank you so much for writing.

It happens every 2-3 days.
Yes, my laptop is connected to it's accessories via Bluetooth (mouse and keyboard).
No, when this problem arise, I can not pair with any(mac o windows) device. I can connect agian after reseting the Nest, or waiting for 1-2 days, so the problem resolves without any interpretation.

Restaring my Mac does not help, since it is related to the Nest.

many thanks for your help.

Hi there!

Thanks for the follow-up information. As you mentioned after resetting the Nest Audio solved the inconvenience without any interpretation.

To better assist you, I'd like to ask a question:

  • Did you get an error message?

Please try the steps here:

  • Uninstall the app: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app.
  • Factory Reset: Ensure you are performing a correct Factory Data Reset (FDR) on your Nest Audio and try to pair it again.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Melany

Good day,

Uninstall the app - Done

- Factory Reset - Done

But still exist the problem.

1 more thing can be helpful.

the problem resolves, when I unplug the nest, and turn it on after 1 min. it works well again.

Most probably, it is has some internal problem.

And Google nest, clearly avoid taking responsibility, and did not accept return their defective product.

many thanks for your help,
