I have hub max throughout my house and it sucks that when I'm trying to keep tabs on my kids. It tells them when the nest cam is viewing them. How do I remove that notification so it doesn't display when it's being viewed? It's pretty annoying 😒

It's probably a legal privacy requirement, like the green light on our other cameras and doorbells when they're recording or being viewed. (In 2019, Google Nest removed the ability to turn off the green status light, saying "Recently, we shared our commitment to privacy to outline how our products work in your home. As part of that commitment, we explained that you will always see a clear visual indicator when your Nest cameras are on and sending video and audio to Nest.")

Hey Lakeshac,
Thanks for bring this up.
Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. I hope we were able to answer your question with the info provided by @MplsCustomer (Kudos to you!). I can confirm that hiding or removing notifications on Nest Hub Max every time you view the camera is not supported. We'll take this as feedback and pass this along to the team. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.
Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi
